Rodney Perry’s high-energy brand of funny is on full display during this OUTRAGEOUS stand-up.

The life of an ambitious, Type-A doctor gets turned upside down when she gets fired from her dream job and returns home to work in her father's Harlem-based clinic. She soon learns that unconventional tactics are the only way to manage this irreverent group of patients. Things quickly go from bad to worse when her father retires and leaves her the practice and her ex-boyfriend creeps back into the picture.

Jamie Foxx presents Showtime's funny Laffapalooza program spotlighting the comic gifts of several of the host's peers and friends. While the show's format can get in the way of its purpose--there are too many testimonials between acts about the rough road of stand-up comedy--the performers generally.
