A former Broadway star, who is now a great-grandfather suffering from Alzheimer's, relocates to the South to live with his granddaughter Tatum and her 10-year-old daughter, Liv. Along with his great-granddaughter, they put on a small town production of Shakespeare's Classic "Hamlet".

For thousands of years, Cupid's brother Ernie has been sending arrows to the heart of people, creating the ultimate love connections. Ernie, now bored of the same love connections decides to leap down to earth and take on a child human form along with his trusted dog and best friend, Cerbie. Cerbie & Ernie's magical adventure leads them under the investigative nose of Detective Myers. Detective Myers can't find any history of Ernie and is puzzled by his sudden appearance and launches an investigation on Erine & Cerbie. With no home of record and no parents, Detective Myers takes, Ernie & Cerbie to the city's Orphanage.

Tristian’s mother enrolls him in Boy Scouts in an effort to keep him off the streets, when he witnesses a homicide, the local neighborhood thug demands his silence. With the help of his new Scout friends Tristian learns doing the right thing can be easy. He faces a crossroad when deciding to follow the code of the streets or the code of the Scouts.
